Photo of the Day: The Best Seat in the House

Sitting in a ballpark, it’s not easy to recognize how big a baseball field really is, and therefore, it’s easy to take for granted how difficult it can be to play the game of baseball.

From our sofa’s at home, or a seat in the park, we watch and analyze and also criticize what we see on a day-to-day basis, but when you watch a Major League baseball game from the field level, or from the dugout or field itself, as an onlooker, you grow to appreciate how fast the ball is being thrown by the pitcher and how fast the ball is coming off the bat, and how quickly the fielder must react.
