Johan Santana has allowed two runs in 31 innings in the month of July, deserving to be be much better than the 2-0 and the 0.58 ERA he possesses over that span.
That said, would more of the same from Santana even come close to what the Mets need tonight against the Dodgers?
Eventually this team will hit, but eventually, it gets later and later.
