I don’t seem to recall spectacular sunsets at Shea Stadium, but it seems as though they are visible on a regular basis at Citi Field.
Perhaps it’s the way Shea Stadium was situation which made viewing these sunsets difficult, and the colors inside the stadium didn’t reflect the light in the same way.
Whatever the case may be, MetsBlog’s Regis Courtemanche photographed this sunset at Citi Field back in April, and it was immaculate.
